Victoria Road has grown considerably since 2014 and we are now pleased to accept referrals for endodontics, implants, oral surgery and orthodontics. By utilising the latest technologies and delivering high standard, evidenced based dental care, you can feel assured that our team will deliver the very best treatment to every patient you refer. Our bespoke service is tailored to the individual needs of each patient, designed to achieve each smile goal with our experienced and gentle approach. We understand that when you refer a patient to us, it is important that we provide a welcoming, relaxed and accessible environment. We are, in essence, an extension of your practice, and are dedicated to maintaining our high standards for both you and your patients. Committed & Caring Our patients are at the heart of everything we do Victoria Road is equipped with a Zeiss Extaro®️ 300 microscope, providing 400 times more visual accuracy than the naked eye and 100 times the visual information than traditional dental loupes. This allows precision navigating the intricate canal system, to avoid unnecessary destruction of tissue. Our on-site CBCT allows the patient journey to start and finish all at the premises, reducing the need to travel. CBCT can be well justified for pre-surgical diagnosis, pre-surgical planning, and preoperative transfer for implant placement.

What we can offer: Our referral process Our referral clinic offers implant, endodontic, orthodontic and restorative treatment options in a comfortable and calm environment for your patients. We are equipped with a CBCT and microscope to aid diagnosis and provide treatment for even the most complex cases. We value your time, effort and trust in referring your patients to us. Our referral process is fast, efficient and as simple as possible. All you need to do is complete the secure online form on our website and upload any relevant radiographs. Our team will then contact the patient to arrange their initial appointment. Following the appointment, the patient receives a detailed treatment plan including estimated costs. Once treatment is complete, the patient is referred back to your care and we inform you via letter of the work that has been carried out. We know that many dentists prefer to carry out the restorative side of implant work themselves, however if you prefer us to carry out the restorative phase of treatment and return the patient to you once finished, we are happy to do so. Dr Jasper Westhuizen Dr Smitha Walsh Implantologist Endodontist Dr Westhuizen is an extremely motivated dentist with a compassionate and friendly manner. He qualified in South Africa in 1990, and moved to England in 1993. Since then, Jasper has worked in the UK within both private and NHS practices. He is dedicated to furthering his skills, and completed sedation training through SAAD in 1996. Jasper also completed a one year course in implantology and bone augmentation in 2003. Over the past 30 years, Jasper has gathered vast experience and knowledge in many aspects of dentistry. His numerous postgraduate studies include orthodontics, facial aesthetics, sedation and implantology. Dr Westhuizen finds great value in using colourful and exciting explanations to introduce his patients to the fast moving world of dental research, thus keeping patients and their care at the cutting edge of advanced dental thinking. Smitha qualified in India in 2009 and has been working in the UK since 2016. Smitha worked alongside a specialist endodontist whilst in India for over 3 years. She went onto do a certificate course with Professor Sanj Bhandari (President of the Endodontic Society). Smitha is qualified and experienced in treating tier 2 complex root canal cases including curved canals, calcified canals, re-root treatment and post removal. Smitha is currently undertaking an MSc in Endodontics from the University of Plymouth, working alongside Professor Federico Foschi. Andrei graduated in 2014 from the “Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Bucharest. He moved to the UK in 2019 to expand his knowledge and skills, in the process developing a keen interest and passion for orthodontics. Since, Andrei has been offering a variety of orthodontic treatments which include ClearSmileBrace, level 1 and level 2 ClearCorrect and SmileFast. Andrei has accumulated a wealth of experience with clear aligners and is able to offer treatment for more complex cases. Andrei is currently studying an MSc in Orthodontics with Orthodontic Team Training, part of the University of Plymouth, to attain full comprehensive orthodontic planning and treatment with the ultimate goal of becoming a specialist. GDC: 277332 When you refer to us: Our approach to your patient’s care will be transparent and comprehensive. We will keep you informed of your patient’s progress during treatment. On completion of treatment the patient will be returned to your care. Your patients will always be treated with care, dignity and respect. All patients will receive a detailed written treatment plan, outlining options, risks and benefits along with a transparent fee structure. We offer your patients 0% interest free payment plans.
